Do you want yogurt options for keto, lectin-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free?
If you follow the “Plant Paradox Diet” by Dr. Steven Gundry, like me, or you are on a ketogenic/sugar-free diet, it can be confusing figuring out which yogurt you can eat. In this blog post, I am going to share compliant brands and flavors on the lectin-free diet. The three categories we will cover are; Plant-Based Yogurt, Goat and Sheep Milk Yogurt, and A2 Cow’s Milk Yogurt.
If you want to explore more on how to read the ingredient label or a simple math hack to show you how much sugar is in your next yogurt, you can read my other blog post here, called “The Yogurt Conspiracy: What they don’t want you to know.” Check the ingredient with our YES/NO List Here.
***Before we jump into this yogurt business, a disclaimer: Yogurts brands can/do change their ingredient list without notice, so it is very important to check out the label every time you make a purchase.

Goat &Sheep Milk Yogurt
You are in for a pleasant surprise if you have never tried yogurt made from Goat or Sheep Milk. Not only is Goat/Sheep milk easier on digestion because of the A2 protein, but it is also very creamy and rich in flavor.
What’s A2? A2 is a protein derived from cow, goat, and sheep milk that naturally produces milk containing the A2 beta-casein protein rather than the A1 protein found in conventional milk. The unique composition of A2 milk has been reported to be more gentle on the digestive system, making it a great alternative for those with lactose intolerance or milk-related discomfort.
If you follow the Plant Paradox program, Phase 2 is when you can have yogurt from goat/sheep milk, and remember, Dr. Gundry recommends only eating 4 oz of dairy-based yogurt daily.
This post is not sponsored. Some of these sheep/goats milk options were recommended but not available in my region fro taste testing like the Old Chatham Creamery of NY and Garden Variety Cheese of CA. Have you tried either of these to give us a review? Which one is your favorite?

A2 Cow Milk Yogurt
Do you ever experience discomfort after consuming dairy products? Fear not, because A2 milk yogurt might just become your new best friend. Many individuals who struggle with digestive sensitivity find that A2 milk yogurt is easier on their tummies compared to traditional yogurt made with A1 milk.
You might be wondering, "What's the fuss about A2 milk?" A2 milk is derived from cow, goat, and sheep milk that naturally produces milk containing the A2 beta-casein protein rather than the A1 protein found in conventional milk. This seemingly tiny distinction makes a huge difference when it comes to digestion.
There are only two yogurts in this category, both are incredible and certified organic! Picking a favorite would be very hard, but if I had to choose, I would go with whichever option was available at the store I was shopping. (Ha, you thought I was going to pick one!)
If you follow the Plant Paradox program, Phase 3 is when you can have yogurt from cow’s milk, and remember, Dr. Gundry recommends only eating 4 oz of dairy-based yogurt daily.
