  1. Bring enough water to cover the eggs to a boil.

  1. Carefully lower 4 refrigerated eggs into boiling water with a spoon

  2. Boil for 8-9 minutes- set a timer

  3. Use a spoon to remove the eggs from the boiling water into a ice bath for 10 minutes

  4. Use the back of a spoon to crack the entire shell of the eggs, peel off a hole on the top, then insert the spoon in to the hole and roll spoon around the egg. Removing the shell in a large piece. Use your fingers to remove any leftover pieces of shell

INGREDIENTS

Here’s all the goodies you need to make Classic Deviled Eggs.

  • 4 boiled eggs- halved

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

  • 1/4 tsp iodized sea salt

  • 1-2 large green olive- minced

  • 1/2 tsp olive juice

  • 1 tsp minced parsley

  • garnish ideas- olive, fresh thyme, paprika, balsamic vinegar drizzle

INSTRUCTIONS

Here’s how to make Classic Deviled Eggs at home.

  1. Remove the yolk from the halved eggs and place yolks into a medium mixing bowl with the mustard, avocado oil, salt, green olive, olive juice, and parsley.

  2. Use a sturdy silicone spatula to whip the contents of the bowl back and forth against the side of the bowl until the texture is smooth and creamy.

  3. Scoop filling into the corner of a zipper bag. Cut off the corner of the bag and pipe filling into the boiled eggs.

  4. Garnish with optional toppings
