Hoisin Sauce
Here is my lectin-free version on Hoisin sauce. Traditionally, Hoisin sauce is made with some lectin heavy ingredients like soy & black bean sauce. It also usually has dark brown sugar which will spike your blood sugar levels- we don’t want that! All of those ingredients is why I had to put my own lectin-free spin on this yummy, favorite Chinese Hoisin Sauce.

INGREDIENTS
Here’s all the goodies you need to make Hoisin Sauce.
4 tbsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp powdered almond butter
1 tbsp brown sugar sweetener, Swerve
3 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp sriracha
1/4 tsp iodized sea salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Here’s how to make a Hoisin Sauce at home.
In a glass measuring cup combine coconut aminos, powdered almond butter, brown sugar-Swerve, rice vinegar, minced garlic, toasted sesame oil, sriracha, salt, and pepper
Use an electric or hand whisk to combine until creamy and smooth
